Living a comfortable life in Yorba Linda, Calif., Tony Correia made a name for himself as a local professional detail man with a paint and body shop on the side. His luck would change, however, when Barry White came calling. There was a very red roadster that needed to be color-sanded and buffed to a high shine with attention to detail that was going to make its debut in Pomona, Calif., for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster Show. Tony and Barry became fast friends during the build of "Concept 36" and decided that they should quit outsourcing their paint and body work and build a shop of their own on the foundation of Barry's Speed Shop. Thus, they created Speed Shop Custom Paint, which Tony and Barry own and operate together.
