Growing up raising cows, chickens, horses, and dogs in suburbia left young Becky with a yearning to be a “cowboy”. Flash forward 10 years and she is working as a successful travel agent, quite the opposite of her childhood aspiration. While jetting around the world, she took a liking to a young hot rodder whose main focus was his race car. After two years of courting, they married and she abandoned her travel agency and picked up the reins with Barry at his parents’s embroidery and silk-screening company.
With time, the passion to print shirts faded and Becky picked up a love for cooking; baking, in particular. She enrolled in California’s Cordon Blue program, expanding her horizons in baking. After graduation, she went to work at Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, Calif., staying there for a short two years before Barry’s ever increasing business called.
Keeping true to her cowboy mentality, she now cares for a farm full of animals including, her trusted mount "Roxanne," the mustang mare; "Deuce," the golden retriever; "Harley," the Australian shepherd; and "Cooper," the mini-dachshund. When she’s not working at the speed shop she’s enjoying things like cooking, reading, working out, and riding her horse.
