This 1957 Corvette has been in Carl's family for almost 46 years. In 1960, Carl's father, Sam, traded his Impala for the Corvette with a gentleman at the Wiki Wiki bar.

Through the years, all three of Sam's brothers took possession of the Corvette for a period of time. At some point, one brother had the car parked too close to the clothes dryer and it ruined the interior.

Sam had always promised the car to Carl one day. However, Carl got news that his dad was dating a woman that liked to drive the Corvette, so he promptly went over there and took the car to his home.

Carl and his wife, Trish, run a business out of their home and are raising 2 children. Meanwhile, the Corvette has been sitting in the garage, waiting for time and money so it could be restored to its original "coolness."
