Domnick lives and breathes cars: he is an extreme hot rod fanatic. His wife, Gina, says that he records every Overhaulin' episode and knows every character and every car that had been made-over. Domnick idolizes Chip Foose and knows Chip's full history; how he started, where he worked, all the cars he's designed - EVERYTHING!

Over a year ago, Domnick was injured at work when a 1600 pound machine fell on his leg. His major artery was damaged, and he almost lost his leg and life. After many surgeries and therapy, Domnick continues to work on light duty, but can't stand for more than thirty minutes without pain and fatigue.

Through it all, Domnick has kept his spirits up and continues to be the "wacky and over-the-top dork he always was" says his wife. She also says that there are a few big changes that sadden Domnick; he can't play or run with his two kids like he used to and he can't stand long enough to work on his beloved car either, a 1970 Monte Carlo. His wife coordinates a very well-deserved overhaul.
