Overhaulin' has been asked to memorialize their brave actions in bringing the news to the world and bringing the world to the troops embroiled in this conflict.
Our reporters, engineers, and cameramen reflect on the war and the loss of friends and colleagues-more journalists have been killed in Iraq to date than in the entire Vietnam War-and they share their personal feelings about a conflict that has claimed the lives of over fifteen hundred American men and women.

Hummer purchased from King Hummer, a used-car salesman in Kuwait. These crews struggled along with the cavalry, trying to stay alive and developing close ties with the soldiers, who never questioned the legitimacy of their missions. The benefit of embedding was the firsthand view of combat it offered the reporters, and Overhaulin' interviewed the soldiers and crew to put a human face on the bravery and determination of all those engaged in the conflict in Iraq.
Chip, Chris and AJ travel to Atlanta to meet the reporters, cameramen and engineers and hear their stories firsthand: we hear their personal stories and go behind the scenes with their personal photos, film footage and personal accounts. We also go behind the scenes at CNN headquarters in Atlanta and see what an enormous job it is to bring the news to the public.
