- Prepare the area around the chip or scratch by cleaning with a medium reducer. This will remove wax and dirt.
- Apply a thin layer of paint into chip or scratch avoiding the surrounding area.
- When first layer is dry (usually around 15 minutes) apply a second thin layer and then a third, ensuring that each layer is thoroughly dry.
- With a very fine sandpaper (1500-grade) polish the new paint to match the existing paint.
- Use a polishing compound to buff to final finish.
