- Check your car's manual for location of fuse box.
- Remove front panel.
- Turn key to power accessories.
- Use a test light to check for blown fuses.
- A good fuse will illuminate the test light from both sides.
- A fuse removal tool (usually located in box) should be used to extract fuses.
- Replace blown fuses with fuses of the same current rating.
What blew the fuse in the first place?
- Cigarette lighter fuses are often blown by coins falling into the lighter.
- Other causes are faulty wiring and or switches.
