In Ohio one morning,
Dave looked up from the dinner table and said to his wife, "I think I’ve missed the boat."
At 37, Dave had a successful job as a tool crib attendant in a machine shop, 16 years with the same loyal employer, a loving wife, and a gorgeous four-year-old daughter. He’d also served with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC, and was promoted through the ranks.
But something was missing.
Dave has built his own hot rods since his stepfather took him under his wing as a kid. His high school teacher told him that, with his skills and creative talents, there was nothing he couldn’t do in the automotive business.
Now Dave’s ready to risk it all to find out if he can.
Walking away from security is one of the hardest things a family man can do. But Dave’s wife is standing by him as he moves from Ohio to California to make his mark in the hot rod world.
Dave is now a mile from his comfort zone, but only a few feet from touching his dream.
