With a new chassis welded to the frame table, the metal work is performed on the 1957 Chevy. New rear quarter panels are welded on, the door handles and emblems are shaved off, along with the door and trunk gaps corrected. A new firewall is custom built. That's not black paint on the metal it's actually epoxy primer to stop any rust corrosion during this stage of the build.
